The Frost R5 : Gavyn Sanusi-Goh vs Tanya Kolak 1 - 0
Many beautiful games are those that involve strong tactical play leading to a game winning attack. However, this is not the only way for a game to be considered beautiful. Often between two players of equal strength, games will become gridlocked with no way through. But the mark of a strong player is the ability to break through these gridlocks with methodical planning. The game between Gavyn Sanusi-Goh and Tanya Kolak in The Frost showed this principle where white slowly manoeuvred their pieces into optimum positions to allow a breakthrough on the kingside and went on to win the game via this attack.
