Fixed Opening Tournament - King's Gambit
24th May to 28th June
This includes a Coaching Session and a 5 round Fixed Opening Tournament based on the King's Gambit.
Every game will be required to commence 1. e4 e5 2. f4. Games will not be rated.
The King's Gambit

Senior Coaching 24th May – International Master Guy West will walk us through some of the main lines and main ideas behind the King's Gambit. No tournament games. 7:45pm start.
Round 1 - 31st May - please enter by 7:45pm, play starts at 8:00pm. For the remaining 4 rounds, play starts at 7:45pm.
Tournament Format: 5 rounds, each round consisting of 2 fixed opening games (reversing colours) against the same opponent. Not rated.
Two divisions:
Open (30min + 30s per player)
U800 (15min + 30s per player)
Entry fee: Please pay on the coaching night or the night of the first round.
