2022 Croydon Open

• Dates: 7 Thursday evenings, 3rd February to 17th March
• Venue: Croydon RSL Hall, Civic Square, Croydon.
• Covid restrictions:  Minimum 2-dose Covid-19 vaccination (show proof on entry). Wear a mask. QR-code sign-in. Don't attend if you have any flu-like symptoms.
• Format: 7 round Swiss.
• Time control:  60min + 30s/move. ACF Classic rated.
• Round 1, 3rd Feb: Round 1 starts at 8:00 pm. All other rounds: 7:45 pm.
• Prizes:
  
  • 1st $200, 2nd $120, 3rd $60;
  • U1600: 1st $60, 2nd $40;
  • U1300: 1st $60, 2nd $40;
  • U1000: 1st $60, 2nd $40;
  • Junior (U18) $40. 
• Entry fee & Registration:  Please register by notifying the Organiser by Tuesday 1st February.

        Members: $20 - Members may pay by exact cash on the first night or by payment to our bank account.

      Non-members: $40 - Please pay to our bank account and notify the Organiser of your name, contact number and payment details.

When depositing, please include your name in the description so we can identify you. Also, please ensure all deposit details are correct. We will not be responsible for transfers that do not appear in our account.

• Forfeit time: 30 min.  It is important to notify the Organiser of any foreseeable absence asap. Failure to do so inconveniences your opponent and may result in enforced withdrawal from the tournament.

• Byes: Two half-point byes allowed in the first five rounds only. Notify organiser at least a week before.
