2023 Croydon Junior Open
School holidays: Wed 12th April & Thu 13th April
Time: 10am – 12.30pm on both days
Where: Croydon RSL Hall, Civic Square, Croydon
Entry fee: $10 paid on the first morning, but free for members
Format: All players will play 7 games over the two mornings. 15 minutes per player per game.
Prizes: Age group based medals & chess book prizes provided by Croydon Chess Club and Northern Star Chess.
Eligibility: Must be Under 16 on the 1st Jan 2023.
Players should know the rules of chess. Tournament rules will be explained on the first morning.
Parents or guardians are welcome to attend.
No food: Please don’t bring food. Water bottles are fine.
