2026 Croydon Junior Open

Results                    Prize Winners

School holidays:     Wed 8th April & Thu 9th April
Time:                         10am – 12.30pm on both days
Where:                      Croydon RSL Hall, 15 Civic Square, Croydon

Entry limit:               44 players.  Entrants must attend both mornings.       Current entries 44.

Entry fee:                  $10 cash to be paid on the first morning, but free for Croydon Chess Club members.

Format:                     All players will play 7 games over the two mornings. 15 minutes per player per game.
Prizes:                       Age based prizes: medals, chess books & sets provided by Croydon Chess Club and Northern Star Chess.
Eligibility:                 Must be Under 16 on the 31st Dec 2025.

   Players should know the rules of chess. Tournament rules will be explained on the first morning.

    Parents of young children are welcome to attend, but please understand that space is limited.

No food:                    Please don’t bring food. Water bottles are fine.

Registration:            Please register by email to     secretary@croydonchess.com   by Friday 3rd April  with

               –     player name, date of birth and a contact phone number
