The 2026 Victorian Junior Chess Championships are being held over the first few days of the Term 2 school holidays at Glen Waverley Secondary College from Saturday 27th June to Tuesday 30th June. There are separate tournaments for different age groups as well as for girls and boys (open).
Games use long time controls of 60min + 10s for the younger age groups and 75min + 30s for the older age groups and are ACF rated. Players must know how to record moves (see here).
Entries close Friday 26th June at noon.
