2024 Croydon Junior Open
School holidays: Wed 10th April & Thu 11th April
Time: 10am – 12.30pm on both days
Where: Croydon RSL Hall, Civic Square, Croydon
Entry limit: Sorry, the limit of registrations has been reached, there are no more places.
Entry fee: $10 cash paid on the first morning, but free for Croydon members
Format: All players will play 7 games over the two mornings. 15 minutes per player per game.
Prizes: Age group based medals & chess book prizes provided by Croydon Chess Club and Northern Star Chess.
Eligibility: Must be Under 16 on the 31st Dec 2023.
Players should know the rules of chess. Tournament rules will be explained on the first morning.
Parents of young children are welcome to attend, but please understand that space is limited.
No food: Please don’t bring food. Water bottles are fine.
